It’s time!
Stream Of Conscience review time. This episode looks like it will introduce us to the oft named but never seen Las Pegasus. I also saw by a thumbnail for the episode’s video, that we will see the return of the double dealing doubles, Flim and Flam. Unlike last week, there are plenty of videos so there will be no big delay this time (despite the fact that I am starting this later-attended the birthday of my two year old niece). I see no reason to delay it any further, so here we go!
*We start out with an outside shot of the Castle Of Friendship.
*Don’t know AJ, but it looks like it will be with Fluttershy.
*My two favorite Mane 6 seem none too happy about the prospect of visiting Sin City.

*Wonder if this dude is related to Flim and Flam. He sure dresses like them and seems to have their flair for the dramatic and ability to draw a crowd.

*As with all things Fluttershy, that is so damn cute! Also, why does one of those guys have a white tiger cutie mark when he’s training small rodents?

*The Flim Flam brothers at each other’s throat, where have I seen that before. Oh yes, the comics! In that one, they were at odds because both were in love with the same Mare. Wonder if that will be the reason here? 
*That is a possibility. 
*Now now Applejack, Forgive And Forget.
*That’s an understatement.
*AJ ain’t having none of that!

*So no gambling huh? Las Pegasus is just one giant adult Showbiz Pizza (Chucky Cheese to most of you-Showbiz Pizza was their competition where I lived when I was a child, before Chucky Cheese bought them out-Showbiz was so much better), like Dave and Buster.
*Peel back the facade, and you have a totally different story.

*Don’t worry about that poor bunny; I’m sure the fall won’t kill him. Though I’m sure the sudden stop will.
*If Fluttershy were there, that magician acrobat would get her comeuppance.

*So now the gay lov… I mean the two flamboyant friends are having a problem.
*So, if I’m getting this right, the underlying problem is Glad Mane. I knew there was something suspicious of that guy. Nopony recognizes Fluttershy and Applejack as important ponies!

*Playing the two sides against each other. A classic, yet always clever move for a swindler.

*I know what you’re thinking Fluttershy, but it won’t be easy. AJ is dead set against it.

*That expression! Fluttersy is getting some good ones this season.
*You wore her down Flutters good job! Also another great expression!
*She just had to throw in that extra maybe.

*That vaudeville shtick.

*That appears too obvious. Though I’m sure like most dishonest characters on this show, he’ll be totally oblivious to the microphone just above his head or the fact his voice is reverberating.

*Well, that’s a change! A bad guy with an IQ higher than that of a PE teacher.
*No words have ever been more true. I prefer never bullshit a bullshitter, but this is a kid’s show so…

Another good episode! Since coming back from the hiatus, they’ve been able to keep me entertained. I love all the expressions my favorite Mane 6 Fluttershy has been getting and to see my two favorite Mane 6 together again (Hooffields and McColts was the last time) was nice. Also good to see Flim and Flam on the side of good for a short time, though I’m glad they kept them as conmen (with the names Flim Flam they can’t really be anything less). Though I am a tad disappointed I must say. I kept hoping to find pony versions of Johhny Depp and Benicio Del Toro from Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas. Before anyone says that they wouldn’t reference a movie with the content of that but they have before:
Also, remember the Big Labowski reference in a previous episode. That was quite a missed opportunity, but just a minor complaint. As for my SoC, I’m quite happy with this one. I think it is one of my funniest, at least to me. I’ll leave it to you the reader to be the judge. Not a whole lot of bonus shots this time around, but it’s about quality, not quantity (though I may have neither).
